Dewan Nurul Islam is the Managing Director of Grant Thornton Consulting Bangladesh limited. He worked in senior financial and corporate management positions in Bangladesh and Australia.
He was the country Finance Manager for DHL and the Finance Director for the Beximco Group, one of Bangladesh’s most prominent local corporate groups. Mr. Islam worked for two years as a senior consultant in Sydney with a boutique investment bank, Development Capital Corporation.
Mr. Islam has hands on experience in IPO, structured finance, capital markets research, business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital financing.
He also serves on the boards of a number of companies in the financial services and oil and gas sectors. He is one of the council members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh
